The North Pacific encloses the Guanacaste province in the North zone of the territory. In the majority of this north zone, there is a dry tropical forest vegetation and it is the region where it rains the least in the Country. In the North Zone you will find most of the beach resorts and beach communities of the Pacific Coast. The most important national parks of this region are: the Rincón de la Vieja National Park, Santa Rosa, Palo Verde, Marine Park Las Baulas, Barra Honda and the Guanacaste National Park.
