Location

Laguna Lodge is located on a narrow stip of land between the Caribbean sea and the Tortuguero Lagoon. Laguna Lodge offers direct access to the beach known as the most important nesting site for the green sea turtle throughout the entire Western Hemisphere (July through October).

Accommodations

The Hotel Laguna Lodge have 52 spacious rooms, equipped with private bathrooms, hot water and fans. Divided in blocks of 4 rooms each with hallways.

Facilities

The restaurant in Laguna Lodge is ample and is one of the most prestigious in the region. In addition we offer a large bar over the lagoon, huts with hammocks, a 400 meter swimming pool, with hydromassage waterfall. Next to this is the swimming pool bar, which is decorated with exotic hardwoods.We have a fleet of nine boats, in order to provide safe transfers and to enjoy the tours to adjacent areas and within the Tortuguero National Park which is one of Costa Rica's most important tourist attractions.

Leisure

The zone that encounter is extremely rich of flora and fauna abound in this park, in their natural habitat, including orchids, birds, monkeys, crocodriles, toucans, etc.., as a product of heavy annual rainfall. During the season from July to October of every year you can take the optional tour at night to see the green turtle ( sea turtle ) laying eggs at the beach.
