Cabuya

Cabuya Beach is located Playa Cabuya is located south of the town of Cóbano, Puntarenas.
Section of rocky platforms and white sand segments is 5 km long. With open sea and strong swell. For photography, and free diving.

Tambor

Tambor Beach is located 25 km SW of Paquera Village, Puntarenas.
Located in a bay with a soft slope and very quiet, smooth swell. This beach has dark sands and clear water, promontories on both ends with cliffs and rocky outcrops that still hold vegetation. It is approximately 1.2 km long and is designated to sun, sea, diving, and abundant fishing.

Puntarenas

Puntarenas Beach is located 115 Km west of the city of San Jose.
Highly visited for the variety of tourist services offered around this hub and its own attractiveness. Fishing is practiced from the wharf or from the various jetties at the point, which also make good lookouts.

Tivives

Tivives Beach is located 15 km south of the city of Puntarenas.
Good quality rights and lefts located 10 km south of Boca Barranca just off the paved coastal route before the exit to Jacó down the coast. Silvery grayish sand beach 4 km long, with very attractive estuaries and the mouth of the Jesus Maria River.

Punta Leona

Punta Leona is located Central Pacific, 20 minutes before Jacó.
800 m of black sand beach, is very close to Playa Blanca (White Beach) which honors its name with 500 m of white sands. Both beaches are separated by a rocky section and the Carara Biological Reserve is only 20 minutes away.

Herradura

Herradura Beach is located 7 km NW of Jacó Beach, Puntarenas.
This 2.5 km long beach contains very still waters, ideal for bathers, and lush vegetation. An exceptionally beautiful bay sets the background to this dark sand beach.

Jacó

Jacó Beach is located 117 km west of the city of San José, south of Puntarenas.
7 km long, has a special swell to practice surfing. It is very attractive in length and width during the low tide. One of Costa Rica's most visited surf towns located approximately two hours from San José (140 Km). It host a wide range of tourist attractions, surf shops, ding repair facilities, hotels, cabins, campgrounds and restaurants. Jacó Beach itself is a fun beach break, and home to some of Costa Rica's best surfers. It tends to close out on larger swells but its central location and wide range of amenities make it a good base for surf adventures.

Hermosa

Hermosa Beach is located 9 km SE of Jacó.
Dark beach sands stretch out 10 km in a natural undeveloped state, the most consistent beach break in the area (10 minutes south of Jacó) where deep waters off the coast and exposure to different swells have built up a variety of sand bars. The preferred sand bar to surf is located in front of a large tree known as the "almendro". Explore up and down the beach for a perfect A frame peak of your own.

Esterillos

Esterillos Beach is located 22 km SE of Jacó Beach.
Extensive 6.8 km silvery grafish sand beach of great natural richness along the open coast. Walks on the edges of the mangroves, camping, and nature observation are appropriate.

Bejuco

Bejuco Beach is located 42 km SE of Jacó Beach.
Dark sand beach with tall seaboard vegetation where coconut and almond trees stand out. A beach designated for sun, sea, fishing, and water sports.

Espadilla

Espadilla Beach is located 6 km SW of the city of Quepos, Puntarenas.
Light-colored sand beach, 3.6 km long, with strong swell and undertows. The closeness to Manuel Antonio National Park is its greatest potential asset. Espadilla is very popular for swimming and various water sports, such as surfing, kayaking, boat trips and jet skiing. A variety of tourism services is also available.

Manuel Antonio National Park

Manuel Antonio National Park is located 7 km SW of the city of Quepos, Puntarenas.
55, 683 ha. (139,208 acres). White sand beaches due to the presence of coral banks. Fauna is abundant and varied, an excellent attraction for researchers and naturalists. The park's services include toilets, showers, drinking water, guards, museum, and administration building.
